Walter Ventures launched in 2017 in Canada and continued its global growth by relocating its team and main operations to Europe in 2019.

Isabelle Somers is a venture capital investor, founded Walter Ventures in Europe and North America in 2018, specializing in investments in enterprise software such as manufacturing, healthcare, legal, HR, ESG reporting, and identity management. She also brings operational expertise from roles at Bombardier Transportation and Walter Surface Technologies and holds an IESE MBA from the class of 2016.

Albert Font has been a venture capital investor since 2015 with Walter Ventures and Caixa Capital Risc, investing across Europe and North America. He represents Walter Ventures in portfolio companies like Incode, Vention, Evolia and Heartbeat Medical, and has been exposed to enterprise software in sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, HR, identity management, 3D visualization, virtual computing, and AI throughout his career. He graduated from the HEC MBA in 2015, and obtained his BEng and MSc in Telecom Engineering in UPC Barcelona in 2010. In between, he gained operational experience with system integration and consulting roles at Accenture and Indra.

Sofia Martin joined Walter Ventures in 2019 as a Personal Assistant to the Director, quickly advancing to her current role as Operations Manager. With previous experience in Alhamra Group and the European Parliament’s communications team, she brings diverse administrative and strategic skills. Sofia holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Northeastern University and Marbella International University and is currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in Project Management and Business Administration.

Atanas has been a venture capital investor since 2014 with Walter Ventures, BMW i Ventures, and Creathor Ventures across Europe, North America, and Israel. He specializes in investments in enterprise software covering manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity, mobility, data processing, e-commerce, and localization. Atanas graduated from INSEAD with the MBA class of 2018, previously in Germany he attended WHU and the University of Mannheim.
